| Ok, I love Cloud more than anything except Ender and Seung Mina, but I'm not one of the stupid jealous fangirls that won't let "their man" go, even to the character that they love and loves them back. I mean, I had a thing against Kairi for those shallow reasons, but I got over it and accepted that she was in fact a pretty cool character. But even still, I love the idea of Cloud and Aeris. They are the perfect couple!! I love Aeris so much because she's such a brave and wonderful character, and she's exactly the type of person that Cloud needs. I would never in any way shape or form feel jealous of Aeris or think badly toward her without getting the incessant urge to commit seppuku. BIG-ASS SPOILER!! DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT BEATEN THE GAME YET!! LALALALALALA!!! When she died I was crying for a day straight. I forever hated Sephiroth, set up a memorial for her in my room, and kept thinking, "Oh no, Cloud must be so devastated!!" Getting to the point of all this, I wanted to show that even after her death Cloud loves Aeris more than anything, and she still loves him with all she's got. Maybe love does indeed cross all boundaries, even the one between life and death. I imagine when he's all alone Cloud can sometimes feel Aeris there with him, embracing him and reminding him of her love. Sappy stuff from Dark Val? IMPOSSIBLE!! |
