| After I started drawing the Route 866 comic *coming soon! Visit The Archives of Fate, the future home of Route 866!* I hadn't drawn anything very serious that required much skill for quite a long time. I found that my old drawing style was fading away, slowly being replaced by the more humorous comicky style. So, to stunt that degredation, I drew the most detailed picture I could of one of my favorite characters. This picture took me, in all, over 6 hours to draw. That's not a lot compared to most people who actually take time and effort to make their works decent looking, but keep in mind that the average amount of time I spend on one picture generally does not exceed 45 minutes. I started off with Sora looking out a window, then added the chair and curtains, and then after that I added everything else in the background. If you look hard enough, you'll find little "easter eggs" in the picture. For instance, the mobile in the upper right-hand corner has a bunch of little icons from the game. I'm not sure if you can read the spines of all the books on the shelf, but most of the ones with actual words on them read the titles of some of my favorite books, as well as some that have to do with adventuring and other worlds. Try to look for all the hidden game references. And can you find the book Ender's Game on the shelf? Fun fun, probably the best picture I've ever drawn. I'll probably attempt to cg it this summer. Put the stars out the window and add some screenshots into those empty picture frams and such. |
