Driving Directions from south.
- Take I-5 to exit 111
- Turn right onto Marvin Road towards Yelm drive 1.7 miles
- Turn left at State Route 510(aka Pacific Avenue. This is soon to be a roundabout) drive 4.9 miles
- Turn right at Yelm Hwy SE(Tumwater exit)drive 1.4 miles house is on right side just before fire station.
Driving Directions from north.
- Take I-5 to the Mounts Road exit(#116)turn left on Old Nisqually Cut-off road, drive 2.9 miles. You will drive past a conveinence store on your right.
- Approximately half mile past convenience store VEER left up the hill onto Reservation Road. (NOTE: The powers that be are in the process of modernizing Reservation Road. It will eventually be moved down the road a bit and the veer will become a left turn) Drive 2.3 miles to end of road.
- Turn left onto State Hwy 510, drive .4 miles
- Turn right onto Yelm Hwy SE, drive 1.4 miles. House is on right side just before fire station.
Ok normally I wouldn't mention this, but I get asked this all the time. In the upper map, it shows the property as being near the boundary of Ft. Lewis Army Base. Well, technically I guess it is. However, if you wanted to get on the actual base, then you can't do it from here. The closest access to the base is from I-5 at starting at exit 121(see upper right of lower map). The property owned by the Army near me is just a buffer zone or something. In the time I have lived here, not much of anything has been done with the area as the bulk of the area is very heavily wooded.
