Keigh-taugh-quah (settlers name cornstalk) was one of the greatest chiefs of his time . He was murdered at PointPleasant (W)Va. 10-nov-1777 shortly after the first battle of our Revolutionary war. Below is a list of the children I have been able to find. Oceano Ellinipso killed with his father Aracroma m- bolling baker a deserter from the englis army. Greenbrier Bluesky Wynepuechiska (peter) he led the tribe to Kansas with Tecumscu's son Wissecapoway Piaserka (the wolf) The above was assembled from treaty signings and other affairs where the name is recorded as "son of or daughter of cornstalk" |
