Dragons Hall of Fame

This page is dedicated to those individuals which contributed the most to the Dragons' franchise. Attributes for membership into the Dragons' Hall of Fame include:

  • Attitude
  • Hustle
  • Dedication
  • Heart

  • All the initial inductees have all these qualities and more.

And without further ado let us introduce our initial members of the Dragons Hall of Fame.

    Inductees Jerseys

#24 - Rit Carter - Awarded the "A" by virtue of his grit, determination and sense of humor on the dek. Started as a Defenseman and later moved up to Wing. Original member of the "GAG" line. Later became key member of the Horde Roller team. Injury caused premature end of a promising career.

#42 - Stan Funk - The Dragons' original corner man. Brought the team its attitude. You always knew when Stan was on the dek, with famous quotes like "what the f@#$%@?", or "c'mon ref are you kidding me?", and who could ever forget - "get off the F@$#^#$@ dek if you're tired". Stan also went on to play on the Horde Roller Team.

#88 - Keith Little - The Captain. Keith was THE skill player on the team for many seasons. When the team was in its formative seasons, Keith was the only player with any shot at all. Formed the Roller Horde Team.

    Class of 2002

    Dave Posadas

#89 - Dave Posadas - Dave always left everything out on the Dek when he played for the Dragons/Horde teams. Sometimes more than the rest of the squad would have liked but you always knew what you would get with Dave. He worked hard over the last couple of seasons with the team to convert to center from forward until marriage cut his career short. Currently 10th alltime in career points with 50, and 6th all-time in goals scored with 32, there is no telling where Dave could have ended up had he played longer. Last contact with Dave had him in line for Lt's bars with the Plainville PD.

    Class of 2008

    Dennis Connors Doug Stewart

#21 - Dennis Connors - Dennis was part of the East Hartford Mafia. He brought an edgyness to the team that has been lacking since he left the squad. What will be missed about Dennis are some of his favorite quotes "Get across the black thing", or "I didn't the MVP again?". He leaves the team currently in 5th place all time in points (82 goals 84 assists).

#1 - Doug Stewart - Started with the team as its goalie and is currently third all time in wins with 23. After converting to forward he really made his presence known as he is third all time in scoring with 269 points (148 goals 121 assists). His career was cut short due to job conflicts (some say that the EHM had something to do with his transfer) and was on pace to overtake Jim Gaglione for the lead all time.
