Hold the Phone!
Is this your Quarterly Dragons Report? (8/6)

Well since the last season was a proverbial bust (yeah 1-11 will do that to ya), things are looking up for the blanc et rouge. Roster changes abound, and sees the return of netminder Eric Veiweg. Also returning - from the Dead? - is Third Leading All-time scorer - Nope its not Dennis Connors - Doug Stewart returns from his exile to the equivalent of bookstore gulag. Jim gaglione returns to the team after an injury sidelined him last season.

While changes are plentiful the web footprint of the Dragons still remains up in the air. This website, hosted by Yahoo-Geocities will be no longer as of October 26th of this year. There is still room on the search committee for a new home for the Dragon online presence.

The new schedules come out on the 11th of this month (August for those without calendars) and the season should start on or after the 15th.

Look for future updates while the site still exists - maybe.

Wait a Minute, Its a Dragon Update!
Where Have These Guys Been? (5/17)

Okay okay out there y'all might have been wondering where have all the Dragons gone. Well I'll tell ya. Its been a long time since the Dragons even won a game let alone do an update! it seems that they are now 0-3 in the Spring/Summer season and fighting the basball/softball/golfing blues. Having lost their playoff game to conclude last season, there were many changes to the roster.

It started with the loss of the new guys - Steve DiMauro and Aaron Duncan. Then continued to Mark Gilardini and Rit Carter and then Jim Gaglione. The final straw that ALOMOST broke the proverbial camel's back was Chad Hosegood going to the Flyers to play in net for them. All this being said, the longest continuous consecutive seasons played streak remains intact at a now astounding 54 seasons!

Well now on for the current season, the blanc et rouge are now 0-3 and things are not looking good at the moment. Losing to the Flyers and Hosegood, Agent Orange finally the Screaming Monkeys. All this being done basically with skeleton crews each night. The OLD bones of some Dragons are showing more in the games more than ever. But on the bright side of things, help is on the way as Ray Glowicki has been added back onto the roster and he has brought some help in friend Sean and compelting the roster this season was the final addition of a new player MJ, added with help from the rink.

Just a note for frequent Dragons News readers, it seems that GEOCITIES is going to be discontiuing support of this application later this year, any suggestions from Dragon Nation for a new venue? Keep in mind that this writing staff has one big requirement it must be a free product!

Up next for the Dragons is a date with the Flyers on monday the 18th at 10PM.
