Summer Season Ends 8/26 (8/28) With the internet reporter strike over, this is an update on the end of the summer season for the Dragons. Nobody missed anything the lack of a reporter at any game after the second one could have almost reported the same thing each time. Shorthanded squad leads to tired Dragons losing again. Despite the dismal session, there were some changes to the Dragons squad as long time forward and part time goalie Doug Stewart has left the franchise yet again. With his contract up for renewal and travel costs to the rink what they are, and no title for the Dragons in the Spring session, the players agnet decided to see if the grass was greener in Massachsetts. And returning was long time defenseman Mick Pechenuk, albeit for a short time as his battered knees failed him yet again. Joing the Dragons this season were Chris Roman (to become an instant backup to netminder Tony "The Hatchet" Moura (TOny racked the most penalty minutes on the team in the summer), and wiaver wire grabs - Rob Anderson and Dean Waller. To keep this news bit short, the new schedule comes out om September 12 and the team is looking for the return of defenders - Dave Shelto and Jim Hannon. There is potentially still one opening left if anyone reading has any ideas or knows of a players looking for a team....

Summer Season Starts 6/22 (6/20) They have said that the best way to get over bad losses is to get right back in the game, well hat seems to be the case for the Dragons as the Summer 07 season starts this friday at 9PM. See the Schedule link for more info.
Injuries Play Major Role in Losses (6/20) With the injuries mouting almost by the minute, the Dragons dropped the final two games of the F-Division finals this past weekend. With Forward Doug Stweart out with a hamstring tear, and Ray Glowicki coming up lame with a bad ankle the Dragons went to OT in Game 2 only to fall 2-1. Game three saw more injuries as defenseman Dave Shelto went down in Game 2 with major ankle sprain and torn ligaments to be out oin game 3. All this led to a 5-1 loss and gave the Dirt Devils the F Division crown.
