a gecko indigenous to Virgin Gorda, British
Virgin Islands is the smallest lizard in the world. Some pregnant
females are only 0.7" long from snout to vent with tails
approximately the same length.

is 0.339" for males and 0.35" for females.
Dwarf Pygmy Goby
(Pandaka pygmaea) is the shortest and lightest freshwater fish.
It is
a colorless and
nearly transparent species found in the streams and lakes of Luzon in
the Philippines. Males have an average length
of 0.343" and weigh 0.00014-0.00018 oz.

Giraffe
(Giraffa camelopardalis), found in the dry savannah and open
woodland areas of sub-Saharan Africa, is the world's tallest mammal. A
Massai bull (Giraffa camelopardalis tippelskirchi) named George,
who arrived at Chester Zoo, UK, from Kenya in Jan. 1959 is the tallest
giraffe on record. Standing 19' tall, his horns almost grazed the roof
of the 20' giraffe house by the time he was nine years old.

Abington Island giant tortoise (Geochelone elephantopus abingdoni).
An aged male name Lonesome George is the only remaining representative
of this species. With virtually no hope of discovering another specimen,
this articular subspecies is now effectively extinct.
