ABOUT MYSELF
I am Trianie C. Perez, 45 years old, a novice pigeon fancier from Lagro, Quezon City, Philippines. I started this hobby seriously when I was about 20 years old, with a pair of white pigeons I bought
from the pet market. I was so fascinated with pigeons that even after i got married I still am raising pigeons for my own loft & for some associates.
The first club where I tried my luck in pigeon racing
is at the now defunct NRPC( National Racing Pigeon Club) located in Caloocan City. After a few seasons of racing, I also joined PRPF and PSP.
As I have been working as a pharmaceutical medical representative then, I was assigned at different regions in the country and had to lie low with the hobby. With limited knowledge and resources I was not able to pursue this endeavor seriously then.
THE TURNING POINT
One event I could say that had really pushed me towards seriously pursuing pigeon racing is when I joined the group of Pilipino Flyers called PiFers International. In it I was able to meet fellow fanciers both personal and thru e-mail exchanges and was able to access a mass source of knowledge about the intricacies of pigeon racing.
I was able to meet a lot of veteran and jaded fanciers who were selfless in sharing their knowledge of the sport and even of the use of their own birds.  With their support I am confident that finally, I am nearer my goals now than ever before !!!
Right now I am competing at NFU North Races for OB and YB, I am hoping that the pigeons that I have bred will
be able to compete head-on with the best competition there is.   By next year 2007, I am set to compete in the PFC races to further test my lines and also hone my own skills as a fancier.
I would have not struggled and endeavored for this goal if I have not joined PIFERS group.
It is my hope that this website will provide encouragement and support towards the betterment of pigeon racing in the Philippines.
MY BIRDS
I keep only small team of widowers and two smaller team of YBs for the two different race courses.
My loft is a modest two storey loft measuring 15 x 4.5 x 20 structure. The 2nd floor I used as OB and YB racing lofts, at ground level I have my separation pens and breeding lofts.
Right now I have lines that originated as donations from fellow Piferians mostly from the United States of America. These untiring and forever generous souls who helped a lot in improving the gene pool of locally flown pigeons in the Philippines. Please gloss thru the pages of my website to see these birds that I am very proud to show.
