| WHEN TO MAKE YOUR WISH? |
| Many people believe that when you blow out your birthday candles, you should close your eyes and make a silent wish that you keep to yourself, or it won't come true. If you find a wishing well, throw a coin in and make a wish, and when you see a falling star, make a wish as this is very lucky! My personal favourite is to make a wish when finding money, as the saying goes - see a penny, pick it up and all day long, you'll have good luck. |

| WHAT ARE WISHES? |
| Wishes are expressions of your special desires. Anyone can make wishes. You might wish for happiness or good luck. But how do you know your wishes will come true? There are many superstitions, ideas and traditions about wishing. If you read fairytales you may think that the help of a genie is needed, and for example, certain days, colours and numbers are believed to be luckier than others. |
| LUCKY DAYS |
| Anything is possible when you choose the right day to wish on. Wednesday or Sunday are said to be the luckiest days ofa all. Wishing on these days will surely allow you to find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Unlucky days - Don't make a wish on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday. These are the very unlucky days. Friday is supposed to be the unluckiest day of all. |
