Madball: Look My Way

Review by Juhani Koskinen

Madball consists of Freddy on vocals, Hoya on bass, Henderson on guitar, and Lafata on drums.

THIS IS GREAT METAL-HARDCORE WITH GREAT LYRICS AND GOOD STUDIO WORK!

I love this kind of music. It has fast parts, it has slow parts; every song has its own sound.

There is not much macho shit on this record (which is good!), but there are no politics either. Its very personal stuff, buy this and let these pioneers show how good they really are.

Songs like Moment of Truth, Waste of Time, False Threats, Pushin Me, Our Family, and Been There, Done That kick ass and the other songs are great too.

The lines are drawn, the rules are set, no good cause, no change left False Threats

Some other records of theirs that you might want to check out are Set It Off ('94), Demonstrating My Style ('96), and Hold It Down ('00).

Madball sounds like something between Hatebreed and Agnostic Front.
