The Outreach Programs of Lodge St. John
The brethren of Lodge St. John have supported programs to uplift the less fortunate. Some are:
Scholarships to the University of Technology
To mark the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Lodge, a Centenary Scholarship was established. The scholarship was awarded to a student. Miss Sandra Porter, from St. Andrew Technical High School for three years, and the Primrose Child Care Center was selected as the Outreach Project.
The Lodge continues to award scholarships (3 in 2001 ) to students in Engineering and Computing at the University of Technology.
William Road Basic School Outreach
The lodge supports the children at the school with the monthly supply of foodstuff. Easter and Christmas treats are also provides for them including Easter bun and cheese and ice cream.

The roof of the school was recently resealed to correct leaking.
North Street United Primary School Outreach
The school feeding program at the school is supported with monthly contributions. Computers were supplied as well as the outfitting of a computer room.
