The Fryinator has the following application features:
- Uses the CUVPlus dictionary with 72,060 word entries
- Has a user customized dictionary to store words not found in the CUVPlus

Statistics
The Fryinator calculates the following statistics:
- Total Number of Syllables
- Total Number of Words
- Total Number of Sentences
- Average Number of Syllables per Word
- Average Number of Syllables per Sentence
- Average Number of Words per Sentence
- Number of Difficult Words (words with 3 or more syllables)
- Average Number of Syllables per 100 Words
- Average Number of Sentences per 100 Words
The Fryinator also calculates the values for the following common readability indexes:
- Edward Fry Grade Level*
- Gunning-Fog Index
- Flesch Reading Ease
- Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level
