The lady (behind the pole) bent her station wagon for sure! This scene is on the front of the modules for all to see. The damaged car is a simple ConCor model whose front end was heated with a candle. When the plastic was softened, it was pushed into a nail driven into a piece of wood to simulate the damage hitting a pole would do.
The police car is a Jordan kit, with an added operating red light on the roof. The light was salvaged from a small car my grandson had gotten tired of, and was wired up into the police car. A button at the back of the module makes the light flash for 5 or so seconds.
Note the cat to the right of the damaged pole, eyeing the spilled antifreeze. |
