Every year Phi Sigma Pi holds a dance to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. There is dancing, food, drinks and raffles and all profits and donations go directly to the foundation. Beginning in 2001 local bands have volunteered there time to make the event even more of a success.
Cystic Fibrosis is a fatal genetic disease, affecting mainly the lungs and digestive system. It causes severe breating problems and mucus build up that causes severe damage to the lungs. In the digestive tract it makes it hard to digest and absorb important nutrients. |
