Phi Sigma Pi Co-ed Honor Fraternity Gamma Pi chapter at Towson University |
Phi Sigma Pi was founded on February 14, 1916 at Central Missouri State University. The fraternity became national in 1921 and became an honor fraternity in 1966. Then in 1977 Phi Sigma Pi began admitting females into the fraternity. Phi Sigma Pi is based on a tripod of scholarship, leadership and fellowship, which means we are 1/3 honor society (you must maintain a 3.0 GPA), 1/3 service oranization and 1/3 social fraternity. Gamma Pi chapter at Towson University was founded on March 18, 1997, by Sharon D. Lilly Adedeji from Alpha Beta Chapter (University of Maryland, College Park). |
