Most WWII veterans never really talked about their role. My Father's photos
were sent back to to the young girl who was going to be my Mother.
He would address these photos as a tourist in a foreign land. The next
excerpt from the Log Book includes a convoy escort with the recording of
" BLEW UP LIGHT SHIP WITH .5". This is the real side of war time conditions. I only learned about this by reading my Father's Log Book. Vets, even after the War, did not want to talk about the details of their wartime experiences.
