| November 2001 Chapter 2. Click here for our thoughts upon arrival in Chamonix, and where we first stayed (first version of this page).. We're moving mid-November down to Chamonix, where we (hope) we have purchased an apartment on the Arve river, facing Mont Blanc. We're awaiting the final paperwork so that we can move in.... Rob will be in Germany for the November, travelling to ski shows (The Atomic Ski Show) as a rep for Stumboeck, the German tour company he has ski guided for in Banff Canada for several years. Gen will be in London briefly, and then Chicago for 3 weeks, working at SSA's Chicago office and visiting friends and family in town. Winter plans are to be in Chamonix for Christmas and New Year's, and potentially spend the last 1/2 of winter in Banff Canada Meantime, we have finally gotten around to updating this site....still have a backlog of photos to scan in though.... Sorry about the download times. Will work on putting up thumbnails in December so that the pages load faster.... |
