Long thought to be dead, Homeless John was right where the G.W.A. left him nearly 4 years ago, when the reunion show was announced there was a bit of concern on how to contact John, seeing he was homeless and therefore had no mailing address. But, lo and behold, when the warehouse doors opened to get the old equipment out there was John talking to a stuffed monkey he calls Lyndon B. Johnson. After buying him a meal and offering him a shower (which he declined) it was back to business as usual. John slept in the trucks and hung out backstage eating beans out of cans and keeping warm from trash fires. Our Homeless Hero forges on.   John was the son of the Millionaire Johnathan Doe, who made his fortune by selling his name to the Goverment for use when a body couldn't be Identified. John Jr. as he's known in some circles inherited the fortune in 1969 at the height of his drug addiction, where he wasted al lthe money on women, alcohol, drugs of every kind and gave the rest to P.E.T.A. and lived on the streets ever since. People have long since tried to buy into the Homeless Wrestler phenomenon with the release of Bum Fights, but there is only one Original Homless John.
