I wasn't able to stay longer as I would like, but here are some photos I took. This was the first (follow the leader-youth pastor, singing "Father Abraham") and second interactive ("Spring Dress-up" team relay race) activity...
It was a much smaller group than we hoped for-23 participants. With an offering of $8.05. The Biblical Message shared was called "Differences Between Christianity and Wordly" (skit)

Right arm: Clench fist, bend and extend arm upward repeatedly throughout song
Left arm: Add left arm in same motion as right
Right foot: Add right foot stepping up and down

Turn around: Add turning in place while continuing other motions

On Saturday, April 7th of 2007-We had about 33 consumers/residents/clients, staff/caretakers, and adult-youth volunteers at this month's event. The message was on Easter.
Below are the different activities (not in order) we did throughout the day.
-Arts&Crafts: Chicks and Bunnies
-Snack Time (w/ different types of baked bars w/ juice)
-Tim (youth pastor of Hossana Worship Center) gives a message on why we celebrate Easter using all types of fun props (symbolizing the crucifixation and resurrection)
-Simon Says game
-Running the obstacle course w/an egg (small-big) in a spoon
-Coloring Easter Eggs
-Blowing the ball to the goal w/a blow dryer!
-Broom "smaller" ball (go around the chairs, under the tape pole, and back)
-Pass the Balloon to the person in front of you (last one gets to pop it!)
