Caring for Young Families - Whanau Awhina

Clinic normal hours:
Appointments for routine well baby checks are preferred as the Clinic is closed at times due to staff meetings and study days throughout the year. Scales are available in the Waiting Room if you wish to weigh your baby when Clinic is closed on normal Clinic days.

WEDNESDAY:

Morning: 9 a.m. until noon. Afternoon: 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
Second Wednesday of month is 9 a.m. until noon only.

THURSDAY:

Morning: 9 a.m. until noon. Afternoon: 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Other days:

MONDAY:

Morning: Home visits. Afternoon: Home visits.

TUESDAY:

Morning: Home visits. Afternoon: Waima Street, 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

FRIDAY:

Morning: Home visits. Afternoon: Home visits.

The Plunket Line remains available, at 0800 933-922.

Routine well-baby Health Checks:

These are free, and are available at the following ages:

2 checks between one month and three months of age

then at:

3 months
5 months
9 months
15 months
2 years
3 years
