Small mobile memory used in 8-bit digital systems, especially in HF-6030 system in SLOT B with HF-10032 serial I2C interface.
HF-1471 is formatted in my THFS file system.
I2C hardware addresses
Hardware address 0xA0 is reserved for mobile memories (DRIVE3), while 0xAE for fixed mainboard memory (DRIVE2). All other addresses (0xA2, 0xA4, 0xA6, 0xA8, 0xAA, 0xAC) can be used optionally for any other memory connected to the same bus.
Formatting memory
Before first use HF-1471 in THOS operating system, memory must be formatted with system data structure loaded into segment 0. Both source code [1] and binary [2] are provided. In this template few things can be optionally entered: 32-bit VOLUME ID (offset 02-05), MM module number, this is my system to enumerate memory modules (offset 0xE8) and VOLUME_NAME (offset 0xF0) which is typically HF project number.
If choosen drive is not formatted properly THOS operating system will respond with 0x90 error code (DRIVE_NOT _READY).
