HF-17966

PROJECT: HF-17966
DESCRIPTION: HEX Keyboard
BRAND: ?
STATUS: u
PROJECT START DATE:
LOCALISATION: HF-4001 (various digital projects can be connected inside this rack 19' case)
DOCUMENTATION: nil
PCB: TPD57966
DIMENSIONS: 68 x 65 mm
CONNECTOR: goldpin 1x8 (M)

Project Info

16-button keyboard, detachable, telephone type button layout, tested as local keyboard with various digital systems without built-in local keyboard like HF-6050, HF-6128, HF-6158 etc... It is possible to work with this keyboard as HEX keyboard when '*' is interepretted as 'E' and '#' as 'F'.

There is similiar model HF-17763, but button layout is not compatible. THOS-1 Operating System can accept both these types, because there is EEPROM configurable switch for separate drivers (in fact only keyboard decoding table is switched).

For ad-hoc connections cable HF-70108 can be used (2x8 goldpin F<->F, 12.5 cm length).

Third HEX keyboard is also HF-17597 but not tested with digital systems yet. There was another idea behind it. I developed demultiplexer module HF-1460 for this project and it was used as fixed keyboard for other equipment.
