uC FAMILY: C2000 (C28xx)
UC-###: UC-268
THN ADDRESS: 0xC8
TYPE: 0x16
Modules:
| PROJECT | DESCRIPTION | PCB | STATUS | REMARKS |
| HF-6066 | uC module TMS320F2801 version 1 | TPD14776 | z | UC-268 |
| HF-6066 | uC module TMS320F2801 version 2 | TPD52920 | q | UC-268 |
This project had no luck. First version was made with homemade
PCB for LQPF100 case (TPD14776) and pins were soldered by 0.15 mm wire
(pitch 0.5 mm). Such soldering technology looks ugly but works excelent
:)).
But before I connected all pins I bought extension board (TPD52920) and resoldered chip there (version 2). Unfortunatelly I destroyed half of pins because I bend every second pin up!
But it is no problem. I soldered destroyed pins by 0.08 mm wire... It takes a lot of time but works perfectly....
Update: Unfortunately these pins can be bend only one time, so when I tried bend them down again it was destroyed one after another...
Meanwhile I downloaded TI tools and started studied C28xx
assembler and architecture. It seems that can be problem with
downloading code into flash but it can be omitted by using external
memory. Probably initially I will try with standalone RAM LOADERS like HF-17335, HF-6121 or HF-6423 and later dedicated memory module will be prepared.
... and later I FORGET ABOUT THAT PROJECT FOR YEARS ...
But returned again...
Update: Unfortunately I destroyed more pins, so this project more likely will be marked as 'f' and uC deleted. There are very small chances that I can repair destroyed pins by 0.08 mm wire, but this is extremely difficult and will be last chance for this project. To do this I must have better magnifier glass and use very thin soldering tip. So, next try soon...
