RED ARMY RADIOTELEGRAPH SIMULATOR

= Police / MOI Networks =

OVERVIEW:

Morse shortwave networks starts appeared in 1930s [1]. Typical crypto format used by these stations was 5F (one can joke that policemen were too dumb to learn letters HI and maybe
there is some truth in it), but in fact a lot of P/L messages were exchanged in earlier periods.

Character of networks can be classified by:
  • INTERPOL network
  • internal police networks (ITU or tactical callsigns)
  • MOI stations
  • offically MOI station, but unofficially connected with Intel (Czechoslovakian station OLX)

For list of networks see Organisations code J.

    SIMULATION:

Currently almost no traffic is simulated, only calling/tuning or radiochecks. Looking for more info about formats and preambles.
Czechoslovakian broadcast station OLX transmits 1 QTC a day at constant time window (try find when).
