13. NILS OLSON S�LVSKARET got the deed to lnr. 224b 5 eng. for 400 spd. in 1870. He was born on Bjerland 11th November 1844 to parents Ole Olsen and Rakel Torkilsdtr. On 19th July 1869 he married Maria Torkilsdtr. Aagedal, who was 21 years old at that time. They settled on S�lvskaret. After his first wife died, he married again to Mari Torjusdtr. T�nesland b. 21th November 1851. His parents surely were helping by the farm bargaining, therefore they got pension from the farm.
Nils was a lumber merchant in addition to the farming, and in 1875 he went bankrupt. After that he bought the farm Kaddan in Hornnes, but in 1901 the family emigrated to Minnesota where he died.

14. OLE K�LAND. He was born in 1844 on the farm Koland, and took over the farm S�lvskaret. Usually he was called � Ola in Leite �.
According to the 1889 tax list he owned S�lvskaret tax 2 mark 10 �relnr. 212b, T�nesland tax 35 �re, lnr 224c Tversland tax 25 �re.
Ole was married to Anna b. 8 November 1850 on Trygsland; their children were (according to the bygdebook ) :

Ole K�land and his family first lived on K�land for 10 years and there- after on Trygsland the next 10 years before they moved to S�lvskaret. Ole K�land died in 1899.
