We have a friend called Jesus; He's every day the same, And when we pray the Father, We ask in Jesus' name,
And Jesus is His name; Yes, Jesus is His name, Yesterday, today, tomorrow, He's every day the same,
If we will only trust Him, Accept His outstretched hand. He'll guide us on our journey Into the promised land.
Our burdens may be heavy, Our pathway dark as night, We call upon our Savior. He is our guiding light,
Sometimes when we grow weary, And every thing goes wrong, We call upon our Savior. He fills our heart with song.
He fills our hearts with gladness; With angels we will sing, We'll praise and glorify Him And crown Him King of kings.
We have all faith in Jesus; We call upon His name, We'll enter in His kingdom When He comes back to reign,
When we all get to heaven, The songs will be the same, For all will sing His glory And end in Jesus' name.
