Buffy: Prophecy Girl Buffy 12-inch Figure
The Prophecy Girl Buffy figure features over 30 points of articulation, for full range of motion. Buffy is ready for her second round with the Master, although looking a little beaten and bedraggled after round one, with a fresh bite mark on her neck and scratches on her chest, and a dress looking slightly the worse for wear. Buffy is equipped with her cross necklace, stake, crossbow, and Vampyre book, and a 12-inch Buffy the Vampire Slayer figure stand. In her first season as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Sarah Michelle Gellar slayed, quipped and romanced her way into television history. The show and the role were uncharted territory on television, but Sarah was able traverse the cliches of the genre and make Buffy a genuine original that became an icon of female empowerment. Vulnerable, funny, and sexy, yet able to kick butt at the drop of a dime, "Prophecy Girl" was the episode that showed all the sides to Buffy and solidified the audience's love for this new breed of hero. After spending the season reluctantly embracing her duty as The Chosen One, Buffy faced her nemesis, The Master, and her prophesized death in the season finale, "Prophecy Girl." Dressed in a white prom dress but carrying a cross bow, Buffy entered the Master's lair intending to stop him from rising and opening the Hellmouth. She fails and The Master not only feeds on Buffy's blood, but he leaves her for dead, drowned in a pool of water. Xander resuscitates Buffy, and she awakens empowered and not a little angry at losing the battle. She returns to Sunnydale High where she again confronts The Master, dusts the ancient vamp and closes the Hellmouth. Together with Giles and her friends, Buffy successfully fought her darkest fear and triumphantly walked out alive to fight another day.
