How to Make Ledre

Ledre is a kind of Javanese traditional food with fragrant aroma. Imagine the sweetness of bananas wrapped with savory sticky rice. Afternoon tea is sure to be memorable when accompanied by this a bit crispy snack.
Serving: 16 pieces
Material :
o 200 grams of glutinous rice, soaked 1 night in 500 ml of water, drained.
o 5 bananas, steamed, cut into slices
o 400 ml coconut milk, from ½ coconut, boiled.
o 200 grams of coarsely grated coconut
o ½ teaspoon vanilla powder
o 25 grams of sugar
How to Make Ledre :
1. Steam the sticky rice for 10 minutes.
2. Cook it half-done to prepare further process of dissolving it well to other ingredients. Set aside.
3. Stir well the glutinous rice, coconut milk, coarsely grated coconut, salt, sugar and vanilla powder.
4. Heat a deep-frying pan. Put 1 tablespoon of the dough on the pan. Widen it and let it half dry.
5. Place the banana slices in the middle. Sprinkle a little sugar on it. Let it dry.
6. Fold it into a half circle. Place it on a sheet of banana leaf.
7. Ledre is ready to serve.
