By Collectors. For Collectors.  My name is Jared Monkman and I decided to start Jared's Toys so that no other Canadian collector of McFarlane Toys would have to go through what I've gone through. Over the last couple of years I've spent countless hours searching every shop I could find for the figures I needed to complete my McFarlane Toys collection. After covering all the shops east of Montreal I still hadn't found the figures I needed and with mounting frustration I turned to the internet. Unfortunately I discovered that the net is full of people out to make a buck off of collectors and that the low value of the Canadian Dollar make purchasing from dealers in the US a very expensive proposition. I'm sure that you can relate to this problem, but at least now you've got a reasonable option. Our goal here is to get those hard to find toys to the collectors who want them without making anybody pay the high specialty store rates. We price out figures well below book value, and try to provide them at the lowest prices possible. I hope we can be help you out with your collection! jared |
