| When I was small I didn't think about it, but there came a time when I was about nine and something happened in my life and I was never the same after that. The something was hearing about Jesus. I loved the stories from the Bible. I loved the songs about Jesus and His love for Me. I was really intested in the stories about how Jesus was born a baby, sent from God and when He grew, died on a cross for my sins. I couldn't fully understand what all that meant at such a young age, but I did know that Jesus did something wonderful for me and it was because He loved me so much. I just had to accept this Jesus into my life and ask Him to forgive me for my sins and help me to live for Him. As I have grown up in my Christian life my favorite verse from God's word is taken from Galatians 2:20 which says, "I have been crucified with Christ, I myself, no longer live, but Jesus lives within me. And this new life that I now live is a result of trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." I have come to realize that I am nothing without God and I can do nothing without God. It is because of God that I live day to day. I am a better person because of my faith in a God who loves me unconditionally and forgives me undeservedly. If I died tomorrow I would have to say that my life was worth the living JUST BECAUSE HE LIVES. I have been blessed beyond measure and my only prayer for the future is for all to be saved. May you find the peace and joy in Jesus and live a life eternal with Him in Heaven when your life on earth is over. I hope so and hope you too can say and see, "God is good-all the time, I am His and He is mine. |
