This is the last Will and Testament of me Matilda Emily Smitherman of 29
Douglas road, Tonbridge in the County of Kent, spinster. I appoint
Edwin Charles Baker of 150 High Street, Tonbridge aforesaid,
Lilian Betty Baker the wife of the said Edwin Charles
Baker my nephew. Royston
Henry Nicolas Andrew and Myra Morrell of 29 Douglas
Road aforesaid (hereinafter call "my Trustees") to
be EXECUTORS, EXECUTRICES and TRUSTEES of this my will.
I bequeath to the said Royston Henry Nicolas Andrew and
Myra Morrell in equal shares as tenants in common all
my household furniture, plate, silver, jewellery, linen, china,
glass, books, pictures, prints and other household effects.
I give the legacy of Fifty pounds to my Great nephew Alec
Charles Baker and a similar legacy of Fifty pounds to my
Great Nephew Kenneth Harrison Baker.
And as to all the rest of my estate whatsoever and wheresoever
I devise and bequeath the same unto my Trustees Upon trust to
sell call in and convert the same into money and after payment
out of the proceeds of such sale calling in and conversion and
of my ready money of my just debts and funeral and testamentary
expenses to pay and divide the residue of such monies unto and
equally between my said Nephew Royston Henry Nicolas Andrew
and the said Myra Morrell.
And lastly I hereby revoke all testamentary dispositions heretofore
made by me.
IN WITNESS - Whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 23rd day
of October, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Eighteen - M E SMITHERMAN

spinster died 2nd December 1919. Probate London 6th February
1920 to Royston Henry Nicholas Andrew, works manager.
