1) Kokiri Forest

After you leve your home, head towards the fenced garden. At the other end of the garden, there is a small tunnel. Enter the tunnel. The tunnel leads into a maze. Inside the maze, there are boulders rolling around. Avoid these boulders. Make your way through the maze to find a treasure chest. Open the treaasure cheat to find the Kokiri Sword. After you leave the maze, find as many rupees as possible.(To buy the Deku Shield.) To get the rupees you can: run through tall grass, break boulders and chop up weeds. Collect a minimum amount of 40 rupees. Now go to the Kokiri Shop.(Red roof with a girl sitting over the door.)Purchase a Deku Shield. Eqipt the shield. Now start to head towrds the Deku Tree. The boy that once stopped you from passing him will let you pass. As long as you have a shield and a sword. Go to the tree. On the way you will be fighting enemies.(Deku Babas) Once you reach the Deku Tree, he will begin to talk to you. After he is finished talking enter the Deku Tree.
2) The Great Deku Tree
Once inside the Deku Tree, go up the ladder. Then start making your way up the tree. While on your way up, enter the first door, there, inside the first room, a Deku Scrub will be waiting. Avoid the nuts using the shield. After you defeat the enemy, enter the next door. Make your way across the room, climb the wall, then open the treasure chest. The
Fairy Slingshot will be inside. Cut the surrounding weeds to collect some Deku seeds for ammunition for the slingshot. Above the entrence where you entered, shoot the hanging ladder with your slingshot. The ladder will fall, climb and exit the room. Then the next room. Continue making your way up the tree, avoiding falling. When you find the treasure chest, open it to find the dungeon map. Shoot the Skatullas on the wall, then climb it. Continue making your way up the tree. If you run into a Giant Skatulla, don't attack the skull side attack the skatulla when its belly is showing, then attack with your sword. It will take about three hits to kill it. When you find the room enter it. The door will lock behind you. Catch a Deku Stick on fire, then light the other tourches in the room. This will raise the platforms. Quickley jump on the platforms to raech the other side. The time will run out. Open the chest to get the compass. Next exit the room. Get on the closest platform to the left. Look down to view the web at the bottom. Then jump off the ledge, when you hit the web, it will break. Then you will move down to the basement. Once you are down inside the basement, explore the area. You will notice that the only way out is up, but to progress, you must go another way. There is a torch, use a Duku Stick and light it, jump into the shallow part of the water, and burn the spider web. This opens up a new door. (This step must be done quickly, and carefully, or you will lose the flame and the stick.)
The room you enter will have both doors locked. Avoid the center of the room if you dont want to get attacked. You will notice a silver eye above the locked door. Use the slingshot and shhot it, this will cause the door to unlock. In the next room, there is a spiked bar, too low to ride the platform under. In the water, on the left of the room, there is a switch. Dive down to the bottom and press it. The water level will lower and you can ride the platform across the water. Push the block to get to the door. This room, just light the tourches to get out.
Explore the next room, then proceed to exit, you will then end up where you started. You will see another block, push it into the water. Light another tourch and climb the block then burn the spider web on the floor. On the next floor, there will be three duku scrubs, defeat them in a certain order, and the door will open. (You should have gotten the answer from an enemy earlier.) Behind this door is Gohma. Before entering, be shure that you have lots of Deku Seeds for your slingshot. To defeat her, you need to shoot her eye when it is red, then when she is on the floor, slice her eye with your sword. She will go up to the ceiling and lay monster containing eggs, but these are not hard. Continue this process and she will go quickly.

3) Your Quest Begins
You will now leave the forest for the first time, and recieve the Ocarina. Now head for the castle. You can explore the world of Hyrule, but don't forget you r main goal; Go to the Hyrule Castle. When you get to the main gates of the castle, you will meet a young girl. She will give you an egg. This will become helpful later. To get to the castle, go up the vine next to the girl, and sneak your way to the castle. By the time you get there, a chicken will have hatched from the egg. Show this chicken to the sleeping man, he will then move. Push the boxes until you are able to jump to the small hole in the side of the castle. Inside you will have to sneak around all of the guards. This is easy. When you reach the courtyard(where Zelda is), look around. In one window you may see a firmiliar figure. In the other, shoot a Deku Nut in the window, and a guard will toss you a bomb. Back to business. Listen to Zelda's speech, then talk to the lady that mysteriously appeared behind you. She will take you out of the castle, and teach you Zelda's Lulliby. While you are on your way to Death Mountain, visit Lon Lon Ranch. Talk to the girl you met at the mountain and she will teach you Epona's song. You can also visit Lake Hylia and make your own, Scarecrow Song, then go to the Fishing pond. Fish in the middle of the lake on the log. Catch the 10lb. fish, and the owner will give you a piece of heart.

Before you go to Goron City.
Go into the lost woods, talk to Saria and learn Saria's Song.
Buy the Hylian Shield at the Hylian Village.

4) Goron City
Goron City is located on Death Mountain wich is located next to Kakariko Village. Begin to scale Death Mountain until you reach the city. When you get inside Goron City, talk to all of the Gorons. Then start making your way down to the bottom of the city. At the bottom, the doors will be closed, but if you play Zelda's Lulliby, the door to Darunia will open. When you enter speak to him, then play Saria's Song, he will dance, then he will give you the Goron's Bracelet. This allows you to pick up Bomb Flowers.

5) Dodongo's Cavern
To reach the Cavern, you will have to throw the bomb flower wich is directly above the cavern. This will cause the rocks blocking the cavern to be removed. Once inside the cavern, move to the left side first. Destroy the Beamos by throwing bombs at them. Destroy the wall and get the Dungeon Map. Now move to the right side, destory the Beamos, the wall then enter the room. There are many annoying enemies in this room, but just run right past them. To open the locked door, move the Armos onto the switch. Now you can enter the next room. You will now have to fight Lizalfos. I reccomend using the Hylian Shield, but if you have the Deku Shield, that would work fine also. The easiest way to defeat them is to wait until they jump to attack, then move around them and slash at them. Repeat this step until they are destroyed. The next door will then open. The next room has several Dodongos. To defeat them, slash thier tails. After they are all defeated, light all of the tourches(there are 3). You will now be able to move to the locked door on the other side of the main entrence. When you enter this room, destroy the wall, and get the compass. In the room you entered, you will see many bombs next to eachother. Place a bomb in the center of the bombs to cause a chain reaction. A staircase will now appear. To get to the top of the pillar with all of the Armos, find the one that is a statue. Climb to the top and throw the bomb at the next door. This next room has Razor Traps, but thse are easily avoidable. Pull the block out of the wall, then jump on the platform with the bomb flower. Throw a bomb at the next door, this is difficult, but possible. Continue into the next room, and shoot the Golden Eye with your Slingshot to rid of the fire. You will next hae to fight more Lizalfos. Continue through the next room, jump on the platform and get the Bomb Bag. Continue until you are in the main Chamber. When you are above the Giant Dodongo Statue, drop a bomb into the eye. Do the same to the other side. This will cause the mouth to open. When you enter this next room, equip the Hylian Shield, or else the fire Keese will burn your other shield. Go into the hall and into the next room. Destroy the bats, mve your way through the room, and down another hall. Now push the block to the center of the room to open the door. In here you can refill your health and bombs. Now jump in the hole to get to King Dodongo. To beat him, wait until he opens his mouth to suck in air, throw a bomb in. When he rolls, get close to the lava pool and wait. Repeat until he is dead. Get your heart and leave.

6) Zoras River
First bomb the rocks to get past the gates. Next, make your way up the river using the chicken. You will eventuall get to the entrence of Zoras river.

7) Zoras Domain
Make your way up to the top of Zoras Domain. Run through the tunnel, and speak to the Zora next to the waterfall. Accept the challenge. It is an easy diving game. Go back up and retreave your Silver Scale.

8) Lake Hylia
Here you can learn the scarecrows song, you make it yourself. Go to the big tree and dive into the water, you should find the Letter in a Bottle. Take this letter back to the king in Zoras Domain.

9)Jaba-Jabu's Belly.
The king will let you pass after you show hime the letter. To enter the enormous fish's belly you must offer him a fish. Capture a fish in a bottle. There are lots of fish in Zora's Domain. Enter Jaba-Jabu. The doors inside can be opened with the slingshot.
