Sabaki Karate is a modern style with a new approach to training. The Kata's taught in sabaki karate are all fighting oriented and functional.

Sabaki describes the movment made by the defender stepping aside from the line of attack into a position from which a strong counter attack can be made.

Sabaki also can place the opponent out of balance allowing a counter attack from a blind spot.
