| As long as you don't attack them chocobos are great fun loving creatures. To catch them you need to have some Chocobo Lure materia and you need to be walking on one of the sets of chocobo tracks dotted over the world map. There are different types of chocobos each of which can aross a surface which you can't cross by foot eg rivers, seas and mountains.
