Ju-Jitsu is one of the few martial arts that contains techniques to defend against knives, clubs or firearms. The kind of self defense is generally used by police and security agents.

Ju-jitsu was introduced in Belgium in the seventies under by François Van Haesendonck. He is the co-founder of the "Vlaamse Ju - Jitsu Federatie" (V.J.J.F.) which means "Flemisch Ju-Jitsu Federation".
