Drinks....

Eamon Langtons Irish 'Pub of the year' at least three times in a row. Quite elaborate, also excellent resturant, hotel and night club. Most tourists visit at least once. Situated on John street.

Morrisons On ormonde st - large lounge downstairs - sometimes there is music - upstairs is a quiet bar.

The Bridge House Bar Old world pub in the middle of the City. Little has changed in the last hundred years. On weekends make sure you're early to get a place. Well worth a visit. Situated on Johns Bridge.

Carrigans Recently reopened. Excelent interior. This establishment also boasts an excellent menu. Occasional jazz sessions. On the parade. Very snaz !!

Breathnachs on John St. near Eamon Langtons. Split levels. Lemongrass (asian) resturant overhead.

Morrisseys Pub/resturant on the parade - quite nice - also there is a resurant on the upper floor.

Kytlers Inn Located on Kieran St., this pub/resturant/nightclub was once the house of Dame Alice Kytler who was burned at the stake in the 1300's for practicing witchcraft. There's a really good 'pretend' witch in the resturant to mark the premises strange history.

O' Riada's/The Pumbhouse/Cleeres/The Widdow's Four of a bunch of six pubs in a row (almost) on Parliament St, opposite the Watergate Theatre. This entire area is a hive of activity every weekend with people often taking their drinks out on the street and hopping from pub to pup. Not for the fainthearted. You've also got a good chance of catching some music too.

Paris Texas Very big Pub/Resturant on High St. Spacious with a huge bar. Ususaly gets big bands (with c.c.) in the evenings. Great place for a mid-day meal.

Bollards Kieran St./Market yard. this pub offers an excelent menu and you can park at dunnes stores.

The Kilford Arms Pub/Resturant/Accomodation/Club in the top of John St. - a hive of activity, espesially at weekends.

The Metropole Hotel Pub/Hotel - Parliament St./James St - Can be good for music.
