Holiness The 17th Gyalwa Karmapa
Urgyen Trinley Dorje Rinpoche
The Supreme Head & Throne Holder of
Glorious Karma Kamtsang Kagyu
-----The first
reincarnated lama to be recognized in the Tibetan System of
Reincarnation Tulku is the 3rd Karmapa, Ranjung
Dorje (1284-1339). He was recognized by his previous disciple,
a Tibetan Meditation Yogi, Orgyenpa (1230-1309) who was also
the disciple of the former 2nd Karmapa, Karma Pakshi.
The highly realized 2nd Karmapa who remember his
past life and thus self recognized to be the incarnation of
the 1st Karmapa, Dusum Khyenpa (1110-1193). From
the first, comes the successive incarnations of this Great
Bodhisattva who vowed to return continually to this world
where others have not awakened to their innate buddha-nature,
the bottomless well of love, wisdom, and creative energy which
is the nature of every sentient creatures' mind.

-----In August 1982,
the Venerable Thrangu Rinpoche visited Melaka and
conducted teaching and initiations to the buddhist
community here. In November the same year, the society
was consecrated by His Eminence The Tai Situ Rinpoche
in Miew Yam See Temple. It later moved to a double
storey semi-detached building at Taman Pringgit
Jaya which was rented. In 1991, the society acquired
an old double storey bungalow of its own at
2382C Klebang Kecil up
to the present day.
