My husband and I own an insurance agency, which sells primarily property and casualty insurance. Both the business and our residence are located in Westerville, which is a northeast suburb of Columbus, Ohio. We have two children, who are now adults and out of the household. Our oldest daughter Marie is living in Las Vegas at this time. She is 28 and single. She is a vendor representative for a retailer. Our younger daughter Sarah is married and living in Atlanta. She is 23 and just found out that she is pregnant. She is due on approximately 5-26-03, which also happens to be our 31st anniversary. It is hard to believe that we will soon be grandparents. My, how time flies when you are having fun! Sarah is a student at Kennesaw University. Her husband Gabriel is a student of chiropractic.
Don and I are long-distance bicyclists. We belong to a local Bike Club. We travel frequently both in the USA and internationally. Our next trip will be to Spain in March of '03. I also had the pleasure of taking a trip to Spain in the summer of '02 with a friend of mine, who teaches Spanish. I have been taking Spanish lessons recently and have also taken four years of French, although I definitely need practice speaking both and hope to eventually become proficient.
We have two dogs that fill my need to have someone to take care of now that the girls are not only out of the house, but out of the city. One is a Pomeranian named Phoebe, and the other is a cock-a-poo named Jasper.
