Occupation: Psychologist/Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Counseling Center
Spouse: Tom Zamostny (Maple Class of 69)
Children: David (10) and Adam (4)

David is sweet, a talented athlete, and plays my old clarinet in the school band. On the other hand, Adam plays on our patience with his oppositionalism, and on our heart strings with his wit and irresistible charm. My brother and his wife live close by in Baltimore. We see them often and I love having him nearby.

I have worked at the University of Maryland as a psychologist for 18 years. My job combines academic work (teaching, research, training graduate students) and clinical work (psychoterapy, consultation, supervision). I love everything about my work except the salary. In addition, I have a small private practice which has barely survived managed care and family demands.

With a 10 yr. old and 4 yr. old, I barely have a life, let alone "interesting". How about "what's amazing?" It's amazing that I have a 4 yr. old at this age. It's amazing me that I've been married for 26 yrs. It's amazing that life has gone on after the death of my mother. It's amazing that we've lived in the D.C. area for close to 20 years and that we feel at home here (although we will always be Buckeyes). It's amazing that I still have occasional (and very vivid) dreams about high school friends and my Friend Avenue house. Actually ... life continues to be amazing. Sorry to miss the reunion. We remember you all fondly.
