1980 **** 105 mins.
Ever since I was a kid, I've loved this film about innocence and discovery. This is a truly beautiful film, in every sense of the word. Though it's highly sexual in nature, it's not done in a perverted way. There is a lot of nudity in this film, but is not excessive. What makes this film so wonderful is that these two characters are bred of innocence. They were stranded as children and have had to grow up and learn all their own. Nothing is perverse in this sweet little film. Sadly, I can not give it a higher rating due to the horrible acting (which, in a way, even works in the film's favour) and the fact that some of the cinematography is off.
Rated R for nudity and sexual content.
