| Nasir the Saracen: (Saracen "Killing Machine," ensorceled by Simon de Belleme) Nasir was ensorceled by Belleme in Palestine, where Nasir lived as an assassin, and where Belleme learned his devil-worship. Belleme brought Nasir to England with him, and with Nasir's skill (and a little black magic) Belleme hoped to win the Silver Arrow at the Sheriff's archery contest. However, Robin proved too strong for both Nasir's skill and Simon's magic, and Robin won. Robin later kills Simon, and Nasir blocks his escape from the castle. They have a swordfight, ending in what would have been a kill for Nasir... had Simon's death not broken the spell, and had Nasir not spared Robin's life. He later joins the outlaws and is an indispensable spy and tracker. He says very little, but his silence is very useful. He is very skilled at running around and killing soldiers without making a sound... (my there seem to be a lot of sleeping guards in this village...) unlike some of the other outlaws, like Will. |
