Background: Johk'ura Savkk was born to Nausicaan military General Taggur Savkk and his mate Ehkera in 2333. Taggur helped the Haskhar Military Regime currently ruling Nausicaa come to power in a bloody coup in 2336. As a result of his loyality to the Warlord Vharkeen Haskar, General Savkk was made a military advisor to the new regime, a post he served in until 2349.

In 2349, when Johk'ura was 16, his father was framed by subordinates for the theft of military equipment, which was subsequently sold to the Pakleds. Under Nausicaan law his father was executed, his mother was sold into slavery and Johk'ura was supposed to be indentured to the Nausicaan military for 10 years.

Rather than serve in the military, Johk'ura fled Nausicaa and joined up with a band of smugglers based on the outlaw world Havoc Prime. Johk served as a gunnery officer aboard a smuggling ship operated by a gang of Ferengi.

By the age of 20 Johk'ura managed to get in on the bottom level of a criminal organization known as the Orion Syndicate. He spent several years with the Syndicate in jobs such as bodyguard, enforcer and assassin. By the time he was 28, he was placed in charge of a gambling operation on Casperia Prime which was soon turning major profits.

Johk continued his rise through the ranks of the Syndicate over the next 6 years. His success caught the attention of the Syndicate's leadership and Johk'ura was promoted to be a lieutenant in the organization, overseeing a branch of assassins known as the Delphine Blade. Johk'ura was challenged several times by the Blade, who saw him as an outsider. He killed four different assassins over three weeks who tried to take him out. This endured him to the rest of the assassins and he was accepted as their leader.

He ran the Delphine Blade from 2367 until 2373 when he started to become consumed with his power. The Blade, under his leadership, killed scores of enemies of the Syndicate, and carried out numerous contract hits...all successful. But Johk'ura Savkk was beginning to have bitter feelings towards the Haskar Military Regime for what they did to his father and mother.

Johk'ura arranged for the assassination of the Nausicaan Warlord Haskar who had been in power for years on Nausicaa. He did this without authorization from the Syndicate, going to great lengths to conceal his plan.

The Delphine Blade assassination team he sent to Nausicaa was successful and killed Haskar, but one of the assassins died in the process and was traced back to the Orion Syndicate by the furious Nausicaan government -- who had long been an important ally of the Syndicate.

Command of the Delphine Blade was taken from Johk and he fled Havoc Prime. It was decided a purge of the Blade's ranks would be necessary to make sure no supporters of the popular Nausicaan remained. A number of Blade operatives died in the purge, but a great many avoided execution and fled. The Syndicate declared the assassination squad defunct after that and placed a price on Johk's head...and on the heads of the survivors of the purge.

Johk'ura and his dwindled but efficient Delphine Blade assassins reunited after the purge and became freelance operatives. They took on various merc jobs and built a considerable reputation for themselves in a short time. In 2375 the Orion Syndicate dropped the bounties on all the assassins, though a great anamosity now exists between the surviving assassins and the Orion Syndicate.

Johk established a secret base of operations for his assassins (OCC: In the Badlands, though this is unknown to anyone) and he set up a legitimate front operation on a Cardassian space station called Apachok Nor. The station was seized by the Federation, Klingons and Romulans in 2376 and Johk continued to operate from there, now as a nightclub owner on the station. He uses the club as a front where clients can come to meet with him and arrange for the services of the Delphine Blade...right under the unwitting nose of the Federation and her allies. The name of the casino/nightclub is Club Razor's Edge.
