The glassJAw!  In my group of friends, it's pretty  much mandatory that you like glassJAw.  If you don't there's really something SERIOUSLY wrong with you and you will be ostracized and picked on.  As a matter of fact I think glassJAw is one of the only two bands that we can pretty much all agree on as being amazing.  The other band is Deftones.   I've only recently really gotten into glassJAw. Yeah I know I'm pretty behind on what's cool.  But now I'm a massive glassJAw fan and I'm dying to see them in a live show.

I've actually seen glassJAw once before, but that time doesn't count.  They opened for Deftones when I saw them in July of 2000.  I was so stoked to see Deftones, and when I got to the venue I just wanted to see them right away.  However, I had to sit through an opening band before I could see my precious 'tones.  glassJaw was that opening band.  I don't remember much from their set. I was sitting in the balcony of the Tabernacle and looking down onto the floor, and it was just errupting all over the place. People were getting thrown around and knocked back and forth.  I didn't pay attention to glassJAw's set at all.  As a matter of fact all I was thinking was "Who are these people taking up precious Deftones time!"  The only thing I really remember about their set is that they had some guy in their crew who kept doing flips into the crowd.  I just knew he was going to fall on his head and break his neck.  But I guess he was alright

I didn't really her about glassJAw again until I started listening to Nonpoint.  Elias Sorriano (lead singer of Nonpoint) loves glassJAw and often talks about them as one of his favorite bands.  In one magazine I read that his favorite love song song was "When One Eight Becomes Two Zeros."
