| The CIC will manage a broader collection of digital content by offering links to | ||||||||||||
| websites of chocolate related collections. The CIC will seek to maintain an organized | ||||||||||||
| set of links to information that is about chocolate and is freely accessible via the | ||||||||||||
| Internet. This helps users to locate and use the collections which were previously | ||||||||||||
| unaware of its existence. | ||||||||||||
| 1) Selection Policy | ||||||||||||
| The CIC primary collection responsibility is to develop electronic content and make | ||||||||||||
| it available to Internet community. Electronic content must meet certain criteria for | ||||||||||||
| inclusion in the CIC. Listed here are some of the important criteria: | ||||||||||||
| - Normally accredited | ||||||||||||
| - Frequently maintained | ||||||||||||
| - Up-to-date | ||||||||||||
| - Widely accessible format | ||||||||||||
