My Shrine to Jeremy Borash!!
So who is this Jeremy Borash guy?  Well, this is a picture of Jeremy & myself after a indy wrestling show in April 2000.  It was a huge goal of mine to meet Jeremy after I fell in love with his voice on WCW Live!, which I listened to every day.

Jeremy grew up in Minnesota & was heavily involved with the local wrestling scene from a young age.  He took a detour from wrestling and became a radio personality.  His biggest success was at a station in Ft. Dodge, IA where he was nominated for two Marconi awards.  Anyone who's ever listened to him know that he did win one Marconi.  He came back to Minnesota to work as a producer & sidekick on the Ruth Koscielak show.  Along with Mick Karch & Dave Scherer of 1Wrestling.com, Jeremy began Wrestling Radio.  It aired Saturday mornings and was also broadcast on the Internet.  The show soon had a huge following!  Bob Ryder from 1Wreslting.com soon joined the fun.  Who can ever forget the Fat Whacker or the Pepsi bottle incident?  Bob was also working for WCW and suggested that they have a similar show on their website.  Thus, WCW Live! began.  It was a nightly, 2-hour Internet only broadcast & it developed a huge following in its 2-year + run.

With this job, Jeremy gained many oppotunities within WCW.  He announced matches, appeared as a character on TV, joined the booking commitee, traveled the world & became very well connected within the wrestling industry.  Within the demise of the Turner-run WCW, Jeremy is now out on his own again.  He runs wresltingbookings.com and is in charge of the World Wrestling All-Stars tour in Australia, featuring many ex-WCW and WWF superstars.
