Baby Sara
Sara's First Night Home
August 16, 2003: When I went to work, The Cat People had brought some new babies from foster homes for adoption. The volunteers convinced me that Gypsy needed a little sister. I decided on a fluffy grey tabby kitten, she had just turned 8 weeks old. Her foster mom was calling her Ruby, she had been found in the flowerbed of a vacant apartment. She was rescued on July 4th 2003, and was only a few days old at the time. After work, I brought the newest feline family member home. I'd wanted my next kitty to be named "Mandy", but it didn't seem to suit her personality. So, finally decided on Sara for her new name. �Sara� is also the title of a Fleetwood Mac song, which seemed fitting for Gypsy's little sister!
Sara was spayed in October 2003, she got her stitches out on Halloween. The babies got a clean bill of health, no more ringworm that we'd been fighting all summer!
