Letitia (finally!) wins
an Outstanding Achievement Award
@
Two Decades in Soap
Letitia Dean has been awarded the prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award at the Inside Soap Awards.
An outstanding achievement
Letitia Dean was bubbling over with excitement at winning the Outstanding Achievement Award at this year's Inside Soap Awards. After over two decades as one of the Square's most iconic characters, Sharon Watts, she deserves it.
She gushed: "Its weird, Ive been in EastEnders half my life. I'd just turned 16 when I started. Im really touched and a bit embarrassed by this award."
Twenty years of compelling drama
Sharon's kept the Square's gossips on overdrive through the years. She married bad boy Grant Mitchell. After cheating with his brother Phil, she faced judgement in front of a packed Vic. She's suffered the tragic death of her beloved father. She's also become soap's most envied woman by getting hitched to Dennis Rickman after an affair that steamed up the nation's screens.
Nigel Harman
(when asked to name his favourite soap character)

"My wife,
Letitia Dean! Without her, I wouldn't be here!"

Wubbles!
And of course, the nation couldn't let Dennis Rickman disappear from our screens without finally awarding the fabulous Nigel Sexiest Male (but of course, ladies!) and Best Actor gongs. Never was any award more deserved! Well done Nigel - we'll miss you!
