| In Balcan Wars 1912-1913 Greek Macedonia was under Turkish Occupation. Only a part of Greek Macedonia was liberated. In Treaty Of Bucharest Another part of Northern Greek Macedonia was given to Yugoslavia, known as todays south part of FYR Macedonia (FYROM), and another part was given to Bulgaria known as Pirin Macedonia. Those areas were completely Greek. Bulgarians and Yugoslavians made Ethnic cleansing and genocides against Greek Macedonians and used the greek name Macedonia for their propaganda. | The Yugoslav Scopians who live in state of Skopje, Capital of FYROM MAKEDONIJA call themselves Ethnic Macedonians. This is a mistake. Their Language is called by mistake Macedonian. In fact, it is Slavonic and is written with cyrillic alphabet. The Greek Macedonians speak Greek and use Greek alphabet. Scopians are trying to confuse the world because they say that their villages and cities are Macedonian. Their villages were inhabited by Greek Macedonian people, but the Ethnic Cleansing against Greeks forced many Greeks to leave from Yugoslavia and abandon their homes. The Scopians captured the former Greek Macedonian villages and cities and they changed their names to Yugoslavian. e.g. Gevgeli became Gevgelija. The famous Greek Monasterion is now a Scopian city with a Yugoslavian name BITOLA in state of Skopje. Ohrid was called Achrida in Greek and even from 12th century was the bastion of Hellenism. They started an enormous anti greek propaganda. The Bulgarians said that Macedonia is Bulgarian and Yugoslavians say that there is an independed Macedonia but inhabited by Yugoslav Macedonians. | "Ethnic Macedonians" is an artificial nationality of slavophonic people who lived in Valley of Vardar ( River Axios). Some of them had Bulgarian origin and some of them Greek origin. others are Turks, Albans and more nationalities. After 1944 they were all trained by Yugoslav Partizans in order to believe that they are Macedonians.The name Vardarska was changed to Socialist Republic of Macedonia. The Greek communists and the Yugoslav Partizans used those people during the Greek civil war. The Greek civil war was between communists and anti communists. People of F.Y.R.O.M have no historical or linguistic ties with Ancient Greek Macedonia.They use antigreek propagamda trying to persuade the whole world that they have such ties. They are stealing even the Greek folclore tradition.
