Budgeted cost for the project is estimated to Rs.289.50 lakhs for acquisition of land and development thereof and cost of developing various industrial and social infrastructure, amenities and facilities etc.
Various assumptions underlying the estimations of investment in various assets, development of infrastructure and other facilities etc. and cost of components and year-wise requirement of funds has been discussed in detail in this chapter.

ASSUMPTIONS UNDERLYING THE ESTIMATES OF COST OF PROJECT
The cost of various components of the project has been estimated based on following assumptions.
The cost of development of various infrastructure facilities such as roads, culverts, plantation, drainage, street light, water etc. and construction of various buildings etc. has been assumed at current prevailing prices/tender rates for various public works under execution.
The project is proposed to be implemented in a single step to complete by June 2002.
The cost of various development activities proposed to be carried out are estimated as below:
i. Land acquisition and Development (Rs. 50 lakhs):
The investment estimate under this head includes estimates of cost of Survey demarcation and planning, construction of roads, culverts, drainage and administrative building and tree plantation.
ii. Water Resource Development (Rs. 75.00 lakhs):
The water distribution system is consisting of Rs. 17.00 lakhs for construction of intake well and pump house, Rs. 12.00 lakhs for installation of pumps, Rs. 19.00 lakhs for construction of treatment plant, Rs. 17.00 lakhs for providing laying rising main, and Rs. 10.00 lakhs for distribution system of AC pressure pipe.
iii Street Light (Rs. 8.25 lakhs):
It will consist of laying poles at 30m distance with clear height with aluminum conductors on each poles consisting of double mercury tube rod of 40 watts except at junction and at every 6th pole where sodium vapour lamp will be installed.
iv. Road and Culvert Development (Rs. 55 lakhs) :
WBM road consisting of sub base murram, oversize metal and two coats of 75 mm thick metal.
v. Shed (Rs. 87.50 lakhs) :
Two industrial sheds will be constructed for renting out to SSI units.
vii Contingency (Rs. 13.75 Lakhs):
Contingency has been provided at the rate of 5% to cover inflation.
FINANCE MIX
The total cost of project of Rs. 289.50 lakhs is proposed to be financed from two sources. One is grant of Rs. 115.80 lakhs from Central Government and another is contribution of Rs. 173.50 lakhs from State Govt. and by internal accruals of MPAKVN.
Thus the finance mix for the budgeted project cost of the Integrated Industrial Development Center, MANASA is proposed as under:
